Reach an audience that comes to cook.
People arrive at AFN with a dish in mind and a kitchen to go to. They are looking up how a jollof is built, what to do with scent leaf, which country a stew belongs to. That is a reader with intent, close to the moment they buy ingredients and cook.
The audience is African and it is also the diaspora: readers in Lagos, Accra and Nairobi, and readers in London, Toronto and Houston cooking food from home. The site is published in English and French.
On the site: display placements, and sponsored editorial produced to the same standard as everything else we publish.
In person: AFDF, the African Food and Drink Festival, and AFSE UK, the African Food Summit and Expo, which is a summit rather than a festival and runs to its own programme. Dates and editions are on the events page.
These are not negotiable and we would rather you knew now than after a contract:
This is quoted from the policy that binds us, not written for this page. You can read it in full under Money and independence in our editorial standards.

Rates and specifications are sent on request, against what you are actually planning. There is no standing rate card, because a display placement and a season of event sponsorship are not the same conversation.
