Number 17 on the 2025 list
Youssef Marzouk is a chef from Tunisia, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for winning Aldehyde in Paris its first Michelin star.
In March 2025 the Michelin Guide France gave Aldehyde, Youssef Marzouk's restaurant in Paris's 4th arrondissement, its first star. Marzouk is a Tunisian chef whose French cooking carries strong Tunisian markers drawn from his childhood in Tunisia. He grew up with a pastry-chef father and a restaurateur mother, and cooked at the Ritz, Tomy and Co and Le Tout-Paris before Aldehyde.
