Vixa Kalenga is a group executive chef from South Africa, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for earning one knife at The Best Chef Awards for TANG in Cape Town.
In October 2025 Vixa Kalenga received one knife at The Best Chef Awards for TANG at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, one of 15 South African chefs honoured in the global guide. Earlier, in April, TANG's Sandton restaurant won Best Culinary Experience 2025 at the South Africa Restaurant Awards. As group executive chef he oversees both TANG kitchens, which serve contemporary Pan-Asian food blending Japanese and Cantonese influences.
