Ozoz Sokoh is a food writer and cookbook author from Nigeria, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for writing Chop Chop, named one of The New York Times' best cookbooks of 2025.
In December 2025 Ozoz Sokoh's debut cookbook, "Chop Chop: Cooking the Food of Nigeria", was named one of The New York Times' 14 best cookbooks of 2025 and one of the National Post's 10 best cookbooks of the year. The book has 100 recipes from Nigeria's six culinary regions. Sokoh has documented Nigerian food on her blog, Kitchen Butterfly, since 2009, and teaches food and tourism studies at Centennial College in Ontario.
