Meryem Cherkaoui is a chef and restaurateur from Morocco, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for winning a La Liste Africa 2025 award and opening Le Dahbi in Marrakech.
At La Liste Africa 2025 in Marrakech in September, Meryem Cherkaoui won a Game Changer award, praised by Morocco World News for blending French technique with Moroccan heritage. The same year she opened Le Dahbi, a Moroccan restaurant at the Mövenpick Mansour Eddahbi in Marrakech, where she also signed the menu, and led a three-day masterclass at Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique. She was born in Rabat in 1977.
