Mabouba Diagne is a minister of agriculture from Senegal, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for hosting the Africa Food Systems Forum in Dakar, which drew nearly 6,000 participants.
Dr Mabouba Diagne's ministry hosted the 2025 Africa Food Systems Forum in Dakar, which drew nearly 6,000 participants from 105 countries. In May 2025 his ministry launched the Community Agricultural Cooperative, the forum's first flagship legacy programme, using cooperative models to build food sovereignty and youth-led farming. At the launch he pointed out that Senegal has one of the youngest populations in the world.
