Hoda El-Sherif is a CEO and co-founder from Egypt, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for leading the third Cairo Food Week to put Egyptian chefs on the global map.
Hoda El-Sherif, CEO and co-founder of Flavor Republic, led the third edition of Cairo Food Week, held from 25 September to 2 October 2025 with dinners, pop-ups and chef collaborations. She set its aim as putting Egyptian food and Egyptian chefs on the global gastronomy map, and in November told Bird Story Agency the event had always been about shining a light on Egyptian cuisine and building collaboration across the industry.
