Ayoola Dominic is a co-founder and CEO from Nigeria, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for closing a US$11 million Series A for Koolboks solar freezers.
In September 2025 Koolboks, the Lagos solar-refrigeration company Ayoola Dominic co-founded and leads as CEO, closed a US$11 million Series A led by KawiSafi Ventures and Aruwa Capital, with debt partly funding a first assembly plant in Nigeria. Koolboks has deployed more than 10,000 solar freezers in 25 countries, serving market women and frozen-food sellers. Ag Safari ranked the deal fourth among Africa's agtech raises of 2025.
