Aistou Mbaye is a chef from Senegal, named to the AFN 100 in 2025 for seeing Ma cuisine d'Afrique shortlisted at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
In 2025 Aistou Mbaye's cookbook "Ma cuisine d'Afrique", published by Marie Claire, was shortlisted at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, one of only two titles in the category for African books published outside Africa in languages other than English. A France-based Senegalese chef, she shares recipes on her blog Aistou Cuisine and has worked with the Smart Food campaign on new ways to cook millet and sorghum.
