Siba Mtongana is a TV chef; siba the restaurant from South Africa, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for her Cape Town restaurant's second straight win as Africa's Best Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant.
In 2024 Siba The Restaurant, at The Table Bay hotel in Cape Town, was named Africa's Best Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards, its second win in a row in that category. South African TV chef Siba Mtongana, who partners with the hotel on the restaurant that carries her name, accepted the award for her team at the gala in Dubai. It began as a pop-up in December 2020 and launched in 2021.
