Michael Sunbola is a founder and executive director from Nigeria, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for leading a Lagos Food Bank rice distribution to families in Kosofe and Somolu.
On 20 April 2024 the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, which Michael Sunbola founded and leads as executive director, carried out the National Food Distribution Programme in the Kosofe and Somolu areas of Lagos with the Aliko Dangote Foundation. Families in Oworonshoki and Akoka-Bariga received 10kg bags of rice. Sunbola addressed the crowd at the outreach and thanked the volunteers who turned out to hand out the food.
