Eugene Kamara (Simple Yemi) is a food content creator (TikTok @simpleyemi) from Kenya, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for being named Food Creator of the Year at the TikTok Awards Sub-Saharan Africa.
Eugene Kamara, who posts on TikTok as @simpleyemi, was named Food Creator of the Year at the TikTok Awards Sub-Saharan Africa 2024, the edition that honoured creators for their work across 2024. TikTok described his recipes as covering African dishes, desserts and juices. He finished ahead of Nigeria's Tosin Samuel in a category open to the whole region, at a ceremony at The Galleria in Johannesburg in February 2025.
