Number 63 on the 2024 list
Eric Adjepong is a chef and host from Ghana, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for hosting Food Network's Wildcard Kitchen, a cooking contest played like poker.
Eric Adjepong, a New York chef whose parents moved to the United States from Ghana in the 1980s, became host of Food Network's Wildcard Kitchen, which premiered on 12 March 2024. The show blends poker with a fast cooking contest: as the house, he deals cards that set ingredients and cooking styles, and each episode's winner can take up to US$15,000. A former Top Chef finalist, he published Sankofa in 2023.
