Eliud Rugut is a founder from Kenya, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for taking AYuTe Africa NextGen second place with Silo Africa's digitised grain silos.
Silo Africa, founded by Eliud Rugut, won second place at Heifer International's inaugural AYuTe Africa NextGen awards in Kigali in June 2024. The Kenyan company provides digitised grain silos that cut post-harvest losses and help smallholder households withstand the effects of climate change. Heifer and its partners pledged technical support to all 15 finalists to help deploy and scale their work.
