Ayodele Abioye is a managing director from Nigeria, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for leading BUA Foods to CNBC Africa's Company of the Year award.
In 2024 BUA Foods, led by managing director Ayodele Abioye, won Company of the Year at CNBC Africa's All Africa Business Leaders Awards, described as the first Nigerian organisation to win it in the award's 12-year history. Abioye accepted the award. Hours earlier the company was named Most Valuable Indigenous Food Company at the BrandCom Awards, and it signed deals with Italian and Turkish firms to expand pasta production to 900,000 tonnes a year.
