Agnes Kalibata is a president from Rwanda, named to the AFN 100 in 2024 for receiving the Justus von Liebig Award for World Nutrition for transforming food systems.
In October 2024 AGRA president Agnes Kalibata received the Justus von Liebig Award for World Nutrition from the Foundation fiat panis, at a ceremony at the University of Hohenheim in Germany, for her work transforming food systems and nutrition. The panel cited her as a policymaker, scientist and thought leader. Over the previous decade AGRA had worked with governments and partners to identify constraints in food systems in 12 African countries.
