Waiting for a cook
Angola
Muzongué is Angola's fish soup: fresh fish and a piece of dried fish simmered in water with red palm oil, onion, tomato, sweet potato and gindungo chilli, served with boiled greens and with funge or musseque, the cassava-flour mash that thickens it in the bowl. It is a Luanda dish, eaten as a Sunday soup and cooked for anyone who is unwell. The Cookidoo version adds cassava root, salt cod and slices of banana.
The draft was written from 4 published sources and holds 13 ingredients and 5 steps. It has never been cooked by anybody at AFN, which is why it is waiting.
