Waiting for a cook
Comoros
Mkatra foutra is the Comorian breakfast bread: a soft, yeast-risen pancake made with coconut milk, cooked in a small pan with sesame seeds pressed into the top, then turned over a flame so the sesame side toasts. "Mkatra" is bread and "foutra" is sesame in Shikomori. It is eaten warm with butter, and with grilled meat or fried fish at other times of day. Zanzibar has the same bread under the same name.
The draft was written from 5 published sources and holds 10 ingredients and 8 steps. It has never been cooked by anybody at AFN, which is why it is waiting.
