Serge Lemana Oyono, diplomat and food writer (Cameroon), figure dans l’AFN 100 2025 pour winning Gourmand awards for gastronomic diplomacy and translation with Flavours of Influence.
In 2025 "Flavours of Influence", the book Cameroonian diplomat Serge Lemana Oyono co-wrote with economist Isabelle Antunès about Cameroonian food as a source of national influence, was shortlisted in the Translation category of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. At the ceremony in Riyadh on 30 November, Cameroon Tribune reported, it won awards for gastronomic diplomacy and for translation, a first for a sub-Saharan country.
