Ntsiki Biyela, founder and winemaker (South Africa), figure dans l’AFN 100 2025 pour winning South Africa's Wine of the Year with Aslina Chardonnay 2023.
In July 2025 Ntsiki Biyela's Aslina Chardonnay 2023 was named Wine of the Year for South Africa at the 2025 Sommeliers Choice Awards. In June Aslina poured its wines at the Africa Food Show in Cape Town, and in August Daily Maverick profiled the brand, named for her grandmother and rooted in Zulu tradition. Born in Mahlabathini, KwaZulu-Natal, Biyela is one of South Africa's first Black women winemakers.
