Aji Akokomi, founder (Nigeria), figure dans l’AFN 100 2024 pour building Akoko, the West African restaurant ranked 23rd in the UK's best 100.
British Nigerian restaurateur Aji Akokomi opened Akoko in London in 2020, drawing on his family recipes and travels. In June 2024 the West African restaurant ranked 23rd on the National Restaurant Awards list of the UK's 100 best, and Ayo Adeyemi, the executive chef he brought in in 2022, was named Chef to Watch. In September 2024 BusinessDay listed Akoko among three Nigerian restaurants on the UK's best 100.
