En attente d'un cuisinier
Nigeria · South East (Igbo)
Ose oji means "pepper for kola" in Igbo: whatever spicy thing is served alongside the kola nut when guests are welcomed. In practice it usually means this thick, peppery peanut butter, roasted groundnuts ground smooth with ehuru (calabash nutmeg), dried chilli, crayfish and a stock cube, set out in a small bowl at village meetings, traditional weddings and the breaking of kola. It is eaten a fingertip at a time with kola, with garden eggs (the small bitter eggplants) or with slices of cucumber. The ehuru is what makes it taste of home; ordinary nutmeg is a poor substitute.
Le brouillon a été écrit à partir de 3 sources publiées et compte 7 ingrédients et 5 étapes. Personne chez AFN ne l'a jamais cuisiné, et c'est pourquoi il attend.
