Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius (fan-assisted) and prepare a loaf tin by greasing and lightly flouring it.
Start by mashing your ripe bananas in a clean bowl.
In another bowl, add your eggs, butter, honey, yoghurt, vanilla (WET INGREDIENTS) give that a very good mix.
Slowly add your mashed banana into the mixture and combine properly
In another bowl, add your flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda & powder, salt and Mix
Slowly add your dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and combine until no traces of flour.
Use a sharp knife to chop your almond or any nuts of choice, also cut your dark chocolate into fine pieces.
Gradually add your chopped almond and chocolate into your batter with a spatula, fold in nicely. DO NOT OVER MIX!
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes @ 180 degrees, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow your banana bread to cool in the tin before turning it out and slicing.
