Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Peel back the husks of the corn without removing them completely. Remove the silk threads
Fresh corn on the cob (as many as you need)
Spread a thin layer of softened butter over each ear of corn. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or spices you like.

Pull the husks back up over the corn to cover it. If the husks are a bit dry, you can soak them in water for a few minutes before using.
Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
Carefully remove the husks before serving, and you'll have delicious grilled corn on the cob!
