Creamy Prawns

Made with succulent prawns cooked in a rich creamy sauce, often seasoned with a blend of spices.

Ingredients
  

  • canola oil
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (crushed)
  • prawns
  • 1 tablespoon seafood rub
  • 1 tablespoon chermoula spice
  • 250 ml fresh cream

Instructions
 

  • In a pan over medium heat, add the canola oil, followed by the onion and garlic, and fry until the onion starts to look translucent.

  • Add the prawns and mix well; follow with the spices, and fry for 5 minutes or until the prawns start to look a little bit pink. Remove the prawns from the pan.

  • In the same pan, add the cream and allow to simmer for a few minutes; as the cream starts to bubble, add the prawns back into the mix.
    250 ml fresh cream
  • Allow the mixture to simmer until the cream thickens, about 7-8 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite staple or side. ENJOY
