Springboks derived its name from the jersey colours (green and gold) of "TheSpringboks" (South African national rugby union team). This extremely popular South African cocktail shooter is made with creme de menthe (peppermintliqueur)and Amarula cream liqueur.

  • 23 ml peppermint liqueur
  • 6 ml amarula cream liqueur


  • Pour the Peppermint Liqueur into shot glass.
  • Get a spoon and hold it against the side of the shot glass.
  • Pour the amarula over the spoon, as this would help make the amarula form a layer over the peppermint liqueur.
  • Serve undiluted, neat and without ice.
