What Are Sardines?
Since sardine meatballs are made from sardine, it is important to know the health benefits of its sauce “the sardine”.
Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in sardines. Sardines are frequently served in cans, but they can also be eaten fresh, grilled, pickled, or smoked.
Sardines are also a good source of calcium since they are eaten whole, with each serving supplying roughly a third of the amount needed by the average person.
Vitamin D is also important in this process because it helps your body absorb calcium. Vitamin D content in sardines is significantly higher than calcium content.
How To Make Sardine Meatballs
While you prepare to make your Sardine Meatballs, note that one favorite way to enjoy fresh sardines, which are inexpensive and plentiful in Morocco, is to make Moroccan Sardine Balls in Tomato Sauce.
Moroccan fish balls are almost identical to meatballs made of beef, lamb, or chicken in terms of seasoning. Minced sardines or whiting are traditionally combined with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin, as well as chopped cilantro and parsley.
