Rice is a very popular foodstuff in the country. It is a major foodstuff eaten by Nigerians across the country. Rice is a relatively expensive foodstuff, but it is a good source of carbohydrate. Garri is also a popular Nigerian foodstuff made from cassava and can be stored for a very long time. It can be soaked in water as a quick meal, or used to prepare Eba. Garri is neither expensive nor cheap, and it is a good source of carbohydrate
